My weekend
Jul. 6th, 2006 06:26 pmI'm currently waiting for my pasta to cook.... fun times.
Had a good looong weekend at home.
Did you all watch the shuttle launch on the Fourth? You should have. Very appropriate day for it, too.
The Friendswood parade was adorable. I remember marching in it way back when, so it was odd watching the band go by - they were all so young (mostly it's the incoming freshmen who are foolish enough to actually go ;).) We had a huge Webster Pres contingent there to support Steven, who was the grand marshall of the parade, and a wounded Iraq vet.
Had a good time hanging out with an old friend, Andrew, who I hadn't seen or talked to in years before last week.
Saw Superman Returns with our church's fledgling college-aged group. Fun times, but Denny's had incredibly bad service afterwards. I enjoyed the movie a lot.
Went to IKEA with my mom, to scope out furniture for LA.
Woke up at 8:30 AM four days in a row.
All in all, a nice weekend (especially since it lasted 5 days ;))
