Weekends rock
Jul. 9th, 2006 09:56 pmWell, I now have a birthday gift for Erik - I guess something good can actually come of going to Walmart, surprisingly.
Friday night, after yummy dinner at Papouli's and the Lion and Rose, I headed up to Austin, running away from the bachelorette craziness of Saturday. Yesterday I woke up early - 9:15 - and then watched Wedding Crashers, which I'd never seen. Went to Chili's and Barnes and Noble with my aunt. Then, Amy's ice cream, napping (I watched The Princess Bride,) then Baby A's for dinner (with really loud music, and a rather incompetent waiter) with Sarah, Lisa, Stephen, and such. Then, back at Nan's I watched Superman I, because HBO On Demand is awesome!
This morning I got up at 10:45, watched Monk, chilled a bit, then went to Schlotsky's for lunch with Nan and Bronwen, followed by the requisite Sunday trip to Target, which lasted quite a while, and then Amy's once again, because I'm addicted and was with a different crowd of folks. And besides, Bronwen had been in California for weeks, deprived of Amy's. It was my obligation to suggest it.
Drove back to SA, and here I am. Watched the 4400, of course.
It's a bit sad how much my life apparently revolves around the television and food.
